Well, meet my Aunt Lineta. :) Beautiful, Graceful, Powerful, Ambicious, Spunky and Hilarious!
I honestly could not tell you how I have survived so long in this life without her. She has become one of my favorite people and dearest friends. Neta is my father's sister. She first reached out to my siblings and I via facebook in 2008. She lives in Australia and some how came across my brothers profile. We began cooresponding here and there over the years. During my volunteer service mission in NZ; she along with my other two aunts Mona and Lili came to visit me. During that specific visit Neta kept pretty quiet and was very reserved. She was kind and expressed happiness but it was too short of a visit for real quality. In March of this year, after my expedition in New Zealand I had the opportunity through my gracious Aunt Neta to visit her and other family members in Sydney Australia!
My days in Sydney were well spent. I spent day and night collecting information and memories of my aunties and uncles. Sydney is a beautiful beautiful place full of soul and beautiful people. Though there was much to see and feel, my favorite thing about Sydney was being with my family. Suring this time I wrote,
"To say I have long awaited the opportunity to be with this side of my family, would be an understatement. Each day I wake up in Sydney I know is a day to be grateful for. God truly has blessed this course that I am on. I love my family!"
Here are more picture of our adventures. Featuring My Aunt Lili, my cousins Marcus, Crichton, Diedric, Henrique.
Another Blessing was being able to spend time with my Brothers Lester and Hanley. There is a special bond Lester and I share and I am ever thankful for that. Here is a picture of his beautiful wife Katrina and their new addition Baby Hudson <3 I am obsessed with him!
Meeting my Brother Hanley for the first time was insane! A rush of emotion came as we embraced for the first time. There are so many similarities between all of us siblings. I am thankful for the true beauty of family. I spent long nights in conversation with various family members as I interviewd them on things I have wondered all my life. Though we have lived half a life time apart- it feels as if we have known each other all along. Their spirits are incredibly familiar to me. I love them, as though I have loved tehm all along, and I believe I have. It is tiem to look forward. :) I will never forget this experience. <3
