Summer 2011 (:

SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER!!!

I was BLESSED with a FANTASTIC SUMMER!!!

I was able to grow so much! I served as a staff member on the pioneer trek for the youth, that was hard but extremely rewarding! I strengthened friendships with wonderful people and was able to be strengthened by the testimonies of the youth.

                                                                         Crazy Pioneers!
I had way too much fun placing them for pictures (:

I was just messing around, this is Joe's guitar case and hat I turned into beauty (: lol

Friendly Pioneers!

I love these three!

We watched shooting stars every night, and shared testimonies of truth, It was a truly unforgettable experience!

<3

In July, I was able to serve as a Level 1 leader at Young Women's camp! Probably one of the most rewarding experiences of the summer! A week where the YW of the church come together in the Sierras, away from all the distractions of the world, and join together in faith building, trying, and enduring experiences (:

It was such a great summer!

For the rest of the summer I spent my days with family, and most of my afternoons and evenings with Joe. We have had wonderful, wonderful adventures, with memories that will last a lifetime!

yikes! update!!!! SPRING 2011

So much has happened! Where to start? It is now November! I have been so fortunate as to have an abundance of blessings and adventures!

I LOVE THE OCEAN!! In April, I crossed #33 from my bucket list and "swam in the pacific ocean" with my best friend Jonah! It was wonderful! I've been back many times since then, and I miss it sooo much! I sometimes wish I could be a mermaid haha. I want to be a stronger swimmer (: Then life will be grand!
It was a little bit of a struggle at first..
                                                       But SO MUCH FUN!
My failed attempts were a little bit of a concern...
So we tried time and again.. Boogie Boarding is the best!
I think it is safe to assume, that I have become quite the expert (:

From January-June, I was had the opportunity to teach Polynesian Dancing at Liber Community School in Hayward, Ca (: I had a BLAST with the students! Before summer break hit, they threw a fundraiser/Luau for their school and it was a real success (: Joe and I sag the song "Lucky" as the opening number while the students performed the dance I choreographed <3

It was such a great day!

I also went sailing with my best friends! AWW I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SAILING!!!

Katrina and Adrian were married on May 14 it was such a  BEAUTIFUL DAY!
It's not very hard to see how much IN LOVE these crazy kids are with each other (:

Sunday, March 20, 2011

This past week, my family and I had the opportunity to meet one of our half brothers from Australia. He was drafted for a camp, training for the US Rugby team. His name is Lester, he has a twin brother named Hanley who we had so many questions about- unfortunately we didn't get to meet Hanley; but we're looking forward to meeting our brother in the near future. We had a blast with him, He truly is an amazing person; we wished we could have met sooner. Spending justa  few hours with Lester was definately woth every moment of the entire 18 hour drive to see him. It's interesting that one can live half way across the world from another yet have so many personality traits in common. We loved spending every moment with him, and now that we've met, we'll never lose each other again.  I feel so blessed to have been given this experience. here are some pictures from our little trip. I thank my Heavenly Fateher for allowing me to live this day. He has provided teh way for me time and again; and I am truly blessed.
